The Random Question Tag

Hi, everone! It's me, I come back with The Random Question Tag ^^. Thanks to Veronika from Reading Is Dreaming with Open Eyes for tagging me. I'm going to answer 18 random questions, I hope you will enjoy it. so here we go:

1, Have you ever thrown a book?
No, but there are times when I want to throw them out the window. The only thing I have thrown across my room and looked like a book were my handwritten notes for my final exam (it felt extremly good).

2, Do you like lengthy books or short books?
I love every type of books, if it has good story and/or characters.

3, If you don't like a book do you stop reading it or finish it?
When I get to the point where I say "no more", I stop and read the last two or three chapter xD. This is may way handling the books I don't like.
4. Do you stop reading when you're tired or when the chapter finishes?
Most of the times I stop when a chapter ends. While I travel or in school I try to stop at the end of the page which I read.

5. How do you organize your shelf?
I have one shelf on my wall and a wardrobe with two shelves.

  • On the top of my wardrobe I have science themed books. (yes, I have these type of books, too)
  • In my wardrobe: top shelf ~ books for school, second shelf ~ beautiful, old, hardcover books from hungarian classic authors
  • the shelf on the wall: every other book I have, and mangas

6. Paperback or Hardcover?
I have paperbacks, because hardcovers are more expensive (I'm poor T_T)
7. What books can you not wait to read?
Any book from Sarah J. Maas, Chloe Neill or Marie Lu. I love their books and writing style so much.

8. A book you wish would be turned into a graphic novel?
I don't wish for it but I would be very happy, if I could read the Throne of Glass Series or the Graceling Series as graphic novel/manga.

9. A book that disappointed you?
Torment by Lauren Kate. I really liked the first book of the Fallen Series, then I started to read the second book (one of the books i stopped reading because I didn't like it) and everything shattered. I don't even want to read the other books from the series.

10. What book made you cry recently?
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. Sarah J. Maas is my tormentor, hahaha. *goes and start to cry in the corner*

11. Do you prefer buying books online or going to the bookstore?
I buy books online because I can get it cheaper.

12. Do you prefer to music while reading or read in silence?
The only place where I don't listen to music while reading is school, everywhere else I listen to music.

13. What is the weirdest thing you've ever experienced while reading a book?
That I almost stayed on the train because I beccome absorbed in the book. I really freaked out because at first I didn't know where I am.

14. What was your first fandom?
I'm not really into fandoms, but I follow the Throne of Glass fandom.

15. What fictional character do you relate to the most?
I have two, Katsa and Fire both from the Graceling Series. I don't really know why but I feel very close to them.

16. What fictional character do you wish you were more alike?
Celaena from the Throne of Glass Series. She is strong (but sometimes weak), badass, funny, warrior and a fashion lady at the same time (Celaena and her love for beautiful clothes).

17. If you could spend a whole day with five characters, who would you pick?
Celaena from Throne of Glass Series because I could talk to her about books and Rowan have to come to because they have to be together (not in a romantic way). Merit from Chicagoland Vampires just because I want to hear her smartass comments. And Lastly Katsa and Po from Garceling just, because. And I have so much more... Why just five?

18. What is a book that exceeded all your expectations?
I couldn't choose between The Keeper of Lost Cities and Winterling because the same thing happened while I read them. At first I started to read them just for fun (they are middle grade books) and after a while I become absorbed in the story. So... yes, these two exceeded all my expecations.

I don't tag any blogger. A say anyone who would like to do this should do it, it's so much fun.

  1. That was fast. Reading Torment was an actual torment haha and imagine that I read the other books from the series as well. "I stop and read the last two or three chapter" nice. Haha.
